Who's going to Gerroa this weekend?
Anyone get a sail last Sunday? It was another mystery swell at Wanda, wind was a bit up and down and slightly on-shore at times but fun none the less. Gerroa must have been excellent.
Fingers crossed for a good weekend's sailing.
See you there.
Ben
At this stage the forecast is showing sailing at Gerroa for the saturday
Rego in the carpark between 9-11am and if the wind is up early enough we hope to have first heats on the water from 11.30
We trust everyone appreciates that with the great turnout we have been having that it is important to get your gear down the beach and be ready to sail early as we are hoping to get through a full round in all divisions.
If the conditions allow we will be running shorter heats with less guys to make it easier to judge, so it is vital that everyone checks the whiteboard for their heat times and assist with judging at least two heats.
Looking forward to another great weekend of sailing ![]()
I'm in - and I've been working on a new move!
I missed the mystery swell though - but got some great SUP down the coast and some awesome MTB as well.
Plenty of frogs in!
What kind of move Tim? You can't just work on new moves without telling everybody - we have to keep up the pace!
Check with the other Judges who will do the seeding for the first heats - i have to keep out of it for obvious reasons.
As for my new move...I'm calling it the "spectacular crash and burn"!
Yep I agree, keep all the french doods out of heat 1, and all the poms, and all the other skippies, just leave heat 1 to me.![]()
I'm after a cheap light wind wave / b & j / freestyle board, early planer, choice of foot strap positions, 90 to 110 litres. Anyone have one for sale who is coming to the comp and wana bring it so i could have a look?
What a great weekend !!
Event report is now posted, pics tomorrow and results and rankings if the judges are in agreementhttp://www.nswwavesailing.org/event_report.asp?eventID=73
wicked drop in, sorry Mike! It was the only wave like that all day, glad you went around me and got the best of it. I promise to share mine with you next time !
An excellent weekend, thanks to all the hard working organisers.
Rob
You young blokes are always lacking in respect - oh, we are the same age, so i guess it is all ok then ![]()
Mike, I learnt it from Waz last Gerroa comp!
Francois do you have more photos you could post ??
regards
Rob
How do we post them ?
Hi all, nice weekend, despite de lack of wind, I had great fun.
I am happy to share the pictures but haven't found my way around on this forum yet, what is the best way to post them ?
Can someone recommend me the best place to repair a Windsurf board in Sydney ? Made crack yesterday on the deck, not a big deal but want it repaired professionally.
Looking forward to your advice.
Miguel

Results have been posted - finally....
Hopefully correct after the delay, the lack of finals being run meant the points calculation was difficult, but we believe they are consistent
Results are here http://www.nswwavesailing.org/results2.asp?eventID=73
Most divisions are so close that the final event will be where the season is decided - note that approvals are in place for February 13th-14th at Wanda - also for Windang as well if Southerly
YTD Rankings here www.nswwavesailing.org/ranking2.asp?rankingID=10
A sail on at Gerroa tomorrow i think ![]()
To whoever is doing the website this year awesome job it's great to see results and event reports up so damn quickly!![]()
