As some of you may be aware our "cousins" from south of the border (NSWWA) are staging the first of their events for the season at Flat Rock over the long weekend and are calling it a "State of Origin". So gang, it's time wave the flag for the Sunshine State yet again and mix it up with our mates from the Premier State! But first things first, it's time to renew our Queensland Freewave Association memberships for 2013-2014 (will post applications forms, etc later today). For those renewing their membership it's $55 for the year (including FREE entry to the State Titles), while new members are looking at $75, which includes a very stylish QFWA T-shirt as well as entry to the States. I hasten to add that while we are yet to finalise our calendar of events for the season ahead it will up real soon (ie: once our new Prez gets back from his honeymoon on Maui!) and will aim too cater to both the hard-core and newcomers alike. We've already had a pretty sweet start to the Spring, with some fun sessions had from the Sunshine Coast right down to the North Coast of NSW, and hopes are high it's going to be a memorable season.
