looking for some advice on where to go, where to stay in and around March and April.

will be hiring gear and car

will have the missus with me too so she will need some sort of civilised accomodation...

probably stay in santa maria in cabo and perhaps make a trip to boa vista?

been to both...

santa maria in CV definitely, you'll have to hire a car regardless, most spots and driving distance...

maroc, moulay is THE spot but very remote if the lady so stay in essaouria and get a taxi to moulay, only 20 minute cab ride...

CV might be a bit late in the season to really score, and moulay march is a bit too early... late april is the time to hit it to coincide late winter swells with early summer trades...

a note on kit:

CV - take a big wave board (85l atleast and 5.5-5.8)

moulay, take a small waveboard and a 3.7 - it ***ing hammers
