This is just a short vid of MA and PUGS sailen at Birdie Beach on the Central Coast on Sun 26th Oct. This aint no secret spot. In fact it would be great to see more wavesailors sail here. Birdie is quite reliable in a NE and always has more swell than anywhere. On some days it will be dead flat on the next beaches with Birdie still churning out 2ft fun stuff. Hope ya like the vid.

Good one Peto,
Ma is ripping.
Gerroa had the swell the day before with about the same wind. Plenty of talent to enjoy the conditions(not me)and a few hackers(me).
Was excellent fun further down the beach with good size waves and perfect angle.
On the sunday it was flat as...and monday with gusty wind.

Hey Peto, nice video, looks like Ma is used to his sails, miss having good waves to ride.
Ma is still the man and ripping on his surfboard.. where was his partner in crime that day?

You have no idea how rad I am. Sometimes when it is 30 knots I take off my harness just for fun.

I do my bottom turns back to sail.

The list goes on.

If you were hardcore you would be wearing g bangers in your avatar

Thanks kev. I hope to get out, it's already windy here about 20kts so this arvo should be on. Any swell up your way. Are you heading out?

Wind is on up here too.
Pete and I sailed at Birubi yesterday... pretty small with the occasional set around shoulder height.
Should be bigger today (fingers crossed)

Where will you be sailing today ?
Was thinking about a possible run into town either today or tomorrow... or will you guys be heading to Birdie ?

I think Birdie today will be the best. It seems windier down there now and better chance of scoring a wave so we'll go there. May see you there if ya keen for a drive.

I see more dickheads are feeding the great white juveniles up your way. They (hero shark teasers/feeders) counted about 25 of them the other day.

Yep they are full blown knob jockeys... mind you it has helped me with jibes and clew first water starts !

Looks like tomorrow might be the pick for the wind and waves, might head down to Birdie tomorrow if you guys are heading down ?
What's the easiest way to get there ?

Yeah we maybe on tomorrow....go usual way to newy. Then through mayfield and waratah. Then aim for the John Hunter Hospital and onto the Newcastle City bi-pass all the way to Gateshead. Then jump on the pacific hwy and go south through belmont and Swansea. Once you get past the southern catherine Hill bay turnoff its about another 3-5km, look for Munmorah State recreation signs into the nationla park on ya left. Once in the park follow the signs to Birdie Beach.

You have Great White Sharks up your way, we have fellows on the other side of the fence lurking in the Birdie carpark. It means you learn to rig fast.
