Hey all, just wanted to apologize for a mistake made in the development of the entry form - it was a miscommunication on my part to the developer and I have heard a few mutters of dissent so I wanted to make sure all is clarified!

The divisions will be run as follows:

1. Open Pro (22-35)
2. Open Amateurs (22-35) - there will be a specific criteria to
compete in this division however, the emphasis is on amateur level
sailors and those new to wavesailing.
3. Womens
4. Masters 35 yrs+
5. Grand Masters 45 yrs+
6. Legends 55 yrs +
7. Youth under 21 yrs
8. Juniors under 17 yrs
9. Groms under 15 yrs

I have highlighted the Youth and the Womens as depending on entry numbers, the Womens division may be split into Youth and Opens divisions. Additionally, the youth divisions may be consolidated if the entry numbers are not large enough to warrant all the divisions. The main thing is, don't stress about the entry form, the traditional divisions will be used when the draws are worked out.

Thanks guys, and dont forget to get your entry form in if your haven't already!

could a 42 year old nearly grand master enter the open pro 22- 35 division ?

I know Scotty Mckercher (for example) and Pozza would go pretty ballistic in the open pro division.

Or would you prefer to keep the age brackets firm ?

I would assume open pro is open to anyone, with no limitations on age, hence why its titled as an open division.

yep - you could enter the open pro, but obviously can only be in the ONE division, not the Grand masters as well. I reckon you should be in the Open pro mate :)

Thanks for clarifying that

Unfortunately i dont think i'll be able to make it - i have some late inbound shipments of windsurfing gear that need taking care of !

It should be a sweet event.
