Come and join the highest ranked wave sailing event in Australia!! This is now a 4 star international wave event with 60% world ranking points and USD$10,000 in prize money split across Pro Men / Pro Women. Divisions will also include Masters (over 45), Grand Masters (over 60), Pro Junior boys and girls (U21) and Junior boys/girls (U18).

Paul Van Bellen is confirmed on drone, Scotty Bauer on photos and Maria Andres likely to be doing social media. Ben Profit and Paul will be making full commentated semi final and final videos available on Windsurfing.TV.

Last year Philip Koster won the event with Julian Salmon in second. Jaeger Stone was incredible as always. This year we've had interest in the 2026 event from people like Antoine Martin and Bernd Roediger.

Due to Shire policy, we do have entry number restrictions (hoping to lift these to 70 competitors), but make sure you enter early. Registration details will come later, but more information is available on the Windsurfing WA website (and should shortly become available on the internationalwindsurfingtour.com website.

We're also looking for experienced judges and can pay for that help so please get in touch with jane@thinktribe.com.au / 0408 909 643 if you think you might be able to help. Could be a good option for someone who wants to come to compete in Masters and get paid to watch the pros!

And if you're keen on windsurfing or have kids, come along to theJunior Windsurf Camp in Geraldton from 12-18th January 2026. We have over 50 kids of all levels looking to improve their windsurfing skills and, more importantly, make some friends! This also dovetails in with the Oceania Youth Wave Titles and Junior World Wave Grand Final, which are wave competitions for boys and girls aged U13, U15, U18 and U21. The U13s starts as more of an expression session for the younger kids to get out their and show their skills - even if it's on flat water. It's a crowd and kid favourite.

Check the Windsurfing WA website for more information on both events.

It won't be quite live, but Paul VB and Ben Profit will upload full commentated versions of the entire Pro Men/Pro Women Semis and Finals, plus Masters Finals and U21/U18 Finals. It'll go on Windsurfing.TV.
