With most of the interstate crew now arriving at Margies and many of the WA contenders starting to filter down for some practice sessions, yesterday saw some radical wave riding with a pretty solid swell producing some close to double mast high set waves and a clean cross-off 20kt wind throughout the afternoon.
The forecast for the event is looking fantastic (although definitely not quite so big) with conditions over the 4 days that will suit all divisions. There are still a number of spots available so act quickly and logon to www.australianwavesailingtitles.org and lock away your position. It is very likely at this point we will be straight into competition Wednesday and we will be locking away the draw Lunchtime on Tuesday the 2nd.
Even if you haven't competed before but you think you have a bit of talent. Make sure you register and get to Margaret River. There is nothing like a Nationals competition to bring out that extra 10 percent which can see you up there with a title.
