Hi everyone,

In the next few weeks, I'll be spending a weekend between Port Fairy and Warrnambool and was wondering if there are any good windsurfing locations in the area with relatively flat water?

If so, what wind direction should I consider in that particular location?

Thanks

Giuseppe

Most of the windsurfing is done at Port fairy. Out in the bay. From W to SE. Westerly down by the golf club, SE at apex Park. It is the open ocean.

For flat water spot there is Killarney, which is behind the rock reef, however it really only works on a SW to SE.

There is also the loch, at Port fairy which works on at NW to NE. However its quite muddy and not the most pleasant in the summer. Plus you'll need a weed fin
