beta.bom.gov.au/news-and-media/new-website-launches-22-october-2025.

In Beta form, I have been using it for hourly forecasts for Green Point (Brighton) and Rye, etc., although I still used Meteye for 3-hourly forecasts.

Sadly, even the Beta forecasts were sometimes wrong

The new design is a definite step backwards. The new MetEye forecast is too general to be really useful. Here in Perth there is often a big difference between say North Perth, Cottesloe and South Perth. In the old Meteye design it was easy to zoom in far enough to get a precise idea what the wind is doing. Sydney is similar story. The new Meteye doesn't allow you to zoom in far enough to really get a good idea of local variations.

Also, in the old site it was super quick to get to Coastal Forecasts. The new site is confusing... Especially on Mobile.
