Hi All windsurfers,

Its the time of the year that we organise the season calendar.
Below is a draft.

We are looking for members to put there names to an event and help with organising them.
Organising an event is fairly simple. It requires little more than calling the date and the venue, publishing it on Seabreeze and being there on the day. Winners of these events will be recognised at the Stanley Long weekend awards night.
Hopefully with some shiny trophies.

For insurance purposes those entering events need to be members.
Social membership allows for entry into one event and is $35. Full year competition entry is $50.
To join visit www.windsurfing.org/tas.htm

Please email or post here if you would like to take on any of the events, fill missing slots or if you would like to extend the calendar with a new event.

Happy Fathers day & happy sailing this Sunday. The weather looks promising up North.

As something a bit different I was planning a social, family windsurfing weekend at Swansea ("East Coast Event"), maybe November. What happens will depend on wind conditions- it is a similar distance drive from Hobart and Launceston so good opportunity to get together, bring a few friends along. Lots of options whether wind is strong or not.

At least 5 weeks before or after Christmas I thought. I will work out a date and put it to WT committee

There is a great cabin park/caravan park right on the water and it would be possible to leave gear rigged up there if necessary.

Lots of family, SUP, longboard options if wind doesn't cooperate.

If the wind is completely non-existent, this is something I thought would be an awesome SUP trip (with a 1.5km carry in the middle).
