I'm going up tomorrow to check this out bit of a risk but worth a try..................never know it might be another surprise like Kelvedon.
Lower East Coast:
Winds: North to northwesterly 20 to 25 knots increasing to 20 to 30 knots in the middle of the day then turning west to southwesterly 25 to 30 knots in the late evening. Winds reaching up to 35 knots offshore in the evening.
Seas: 1.5 to 2.5 metres, increasing to 2.5 to 4 metres around midday.
Swell: South to southwesterly 2 to 3 metres, decreasing to 1 to 2 metres later in the evening
Easty I was caught nitting not natting.
Tim Gale is at Mortimer says plenty of wind.
I'm shooting up to scout Swanport.......probably wasting time but I'm busting to know whether it works.....also taking my sup
I had a look last year as far as potential pull out points for coast run from Boltons to Swansea. Here is a pic. Looks like there are various options there.
Clarence
I can confirm there are no options here!!!!!! Now tried it in every direction, this place is canned!!!!!!! Don't anyone ever ever try to sail here!!!!!!!!
20-30knots about 500m out, nothing in the port!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got a little sup though![]()
