you'll generally put a gitsham tray on wouldn't you, so guess it doesn't matter which brand you get, you can prob get any size tray for it

Vans are not great 4wd!! I know there are some but I want something that is multi use! Gitsham look ok but thinking that the flexiglass work ezy set ups are pretty good.

What about a 75 series Tray back or a GU Patrol tray back. put a canopy over it and your set. the trays are about 7' long end to end and about 9' across the diagonal. They are go any where machines just a little bit cheaper to run than the earlier suggested F250 oh yeah the 75 series has a bench seat so you can have your wife to be slide across while your driving and give you a big huge

Nice DAve - we drove a GMC Yukon 3000km around california - about a metre longer than a PAjero - you'd fit everything in that mother - they're only abouit $37000 US

Plus it runs on ECO fuel - whatever that is

You can get a full tub on the back you don't have to get a tray top.

Check the Isuzu DMAx - they reckon the load on the standard tray is 2550.

Look OK and price looks competitive
Dont think the warranty looks as good as the Triton though

Go the Triton.
Two trips from Newy to Goolwa with sailing gear in back and SUP on the roof and it was still doing 10.6 lt to the 100 (diesel 3.2)
Dual cab has the electric back window which fits a JP twin 84 and Angulo 95 once you remove the centre head rest.
Longest warranty on the market.

We drive a lot of 4x4s with work (pre dominantly hiluxs) and the triton GLXR is a better vehicle than the Hilux SR5 and 12k cheaper

Just my 2 cents

Ive got a VW transporter as a new work car.
It has mega clearance, euro standard controls (cruze, ipod, heated seats, electric everything)

IS a turbo diesel, so it ****en flies and has more room then a hiace.

You could sleep in it with the dog, the missus and full kit and still have room for some night time fun.
a 12'6 race SUP fits in it too.

It also comes in a AWD.

nothing close to it..
ill post a pic soon.

Obviously you would change the Snowboard graphics for Neil Pryde or the like.

Drives like a Rolls Royce and fits more then a backyard shed.

My choice for sure.
