Snapped the fin in my f2 lightning today, at least in didnt roll the box out.
Half a lap to manny, should have changed down to the short board.
I have 1 spare but the cord is wider than the one i broke wich is 14.5 cm across.

So, does anyone have any spare us box fins around, max 32cm long with a cord width under 14 cm before i look at milling and trimming down a tuttle box thats prob a bit to good to sacrafice.

Surf Sail Australia have a plastic one for $50, would it be any good ?
Any links to any other retailers greatly appreciated.

Actually, if memory serves correctly those old F2's had (I think) an E-box rather than an A-box (A-box is US box). The base of the E-box fin is slightly deeper than A-box. An A-box fin will fit an E-box slot, but there will be a bit of play in the vertical direction that ends up being a weakness. But the original F2 fin was pretty awful by modern standards. If you really love the board and it is the epoxy construction (not ASA), maybe drop a Powerbox or Tuttle cassette in it so you can use more modern fins?
