No, just a tad to far away![]()
Did you get a sail Saturday?
Oh, by the way, you still haven't paid for the taxi Friday night.
Anyone for a pre work sail at the mid thursday - sunrise at U turns / triggs - supposed to be 20-25 and 2 foot swell in by 6 out by 8 work by 9
Would love to mate but it's too far for me too!!![]()
It's windy here today...get a nurse's note, jump on a plane and come play with me this arvo!!![]()
Thanks russh...
I have been off southport before but not that far down.
Will have to give it a go another day as its too far to get back to work in the city...
Or maybe I throw a sickie and get a doctor to write me a note saying I'm saline deficient....
Yeah yeah yeah.....
Im sitting at work looking at these little green arrows and the flags flying in Vic Square...
Dont want to hear about this mornings session....
(have got the car packed and am gona sneak out at 4 for a quickie this arvo if the wind is still holding...)
Hope you guys had a good one....
Sorry a rare occasion where it's windy and warm at dawn
6-730ish 17-25knts head hi triggs and u turns - some nice sets and a few slashy sections - at work by 825 - wish we could do it very day- what chance of another one on the way home?
Yep, Bugger it....You've convinced me russh...... Im ditching work for the arvo....
Gona head home, grab the gear and get stuck into this westerly....
Might go down to seacliff and frig around there a bit....
Is it big enough to go a 4.5 sail or still need a 5.6?
Ended up at North Haven. Fabulous choice. Flat, windy and sunny. Perfecto! All inspired after watching the gurus down at middleton on saturday!!
Grumpy, I gather that you didnt feel blessed by our presense in your chariot. Will buy you a softie or 4 at beachport, long weekend. Coming?
I did get a sail on saturday morning down at boggies, but it was insanely windy and gusty, bone breaking weather apparently!!
Got down to seacliff at 3.15 and there was no wind.... was thoroughly disappointed.....
so went down to south port and it was blowing a gale and the sea was rough as.... so after trying there a bit and getting blown around, we headed back to seacliff...
Different place when we got back. strong wind with big waves too....
Got a few good runs in but like divaldo said... wind running parallel to the waves so made it a bit wobbly on the board....
Can't wait for beachport next weekend!
