15-25 knots westerly sundy & 2ft,i think its the day st channel for me,
lots of low pressure troughs moving from west to east coast this summer seem to be screwing up our wind pattern, maybe due to la nina condition, would any brain out there have any idea on this ?

It's the sun. No sun spots. This has been going on for a few months.

No sun spots, means the sun is colder :)

Yet another weather site to add to your favourites hehe

Out of interest, what was the weather like back in the summer of 2001 and 2002 ?

I was an electronics tech in the service industry back then, and I started taking
an interest in the sun when my customers and companies (unshielded) equipment
would intermittently go hay-wire. Nightmare !

Hope you get some waves - we had 15-20knts at Wanda yesterday - every man and his dog was swimming or surfing and it was hell to get a wave cause of the crowd swimming and the waves were shiite.

Goin to Gerroa today - 20-30knt forecast -- no bloody waves!

Hope the street is good for ya's

hey biscuit,i have trouble with 6months ago let alone 7 years ago and the bom site is not easy to extract info, but the coming months are above average temps so they must be getting extra bunsen burners out to flare those sun spots....

Traffic stopped us getting to Gerroa 45 minute traffic jam with 40k's to go bumper to bumper not moving on the freeway at woolongong - this place is so busy carparks are hard to find and the swell has been small.

Yesterday was probably ok wanda late but the swell is tiny - I just got sick of the crowds and parking hassles and rubbish on the beaches and in the water - went and drank beer instead - you just don't realise how good we have it in old SA.
