Yes that's me.......I'd been hanging out for some decent wind and waves.

Had a great sail.....Only I may have broken a toe or damaged some tendons on my foot.
My foot is all black and blue and few toes pointed in the wrong direction.
Not sure when I will be sailing next.
I will not be a happy camper if its too long. (extremely pissed off)

Anyway great shots from such a distance, I didn't even see you there.

Did anyone get a sail today????

Was the damage from the barrel roll??? Looked good from where I was sitting.
I had two sails today, the morning was really really great, the arvo was a stack of weed on my fin, just crazy.
Guys had a good sail, didnt look as windy as yesterday. Morning I had 4.2 arvo 5m. The 5m was good cos of the weed.

Good question. I HATE putting copyright on these photos. Unfortunately due to photo theft I HAVE to. Sorry guys, its that or not sharing. And I like sharing for everyone to enjoy on here. Not to take without permission. But to enjoy on here. If you want copies contact me.

Bad news about the foot.

There was a lot of crew at Seacliff Tuesday and Wednesday arvo's - was pretty good fun especially late Tuesday overdone on a 4.7 - some good sailing was goin on too - some decent lumps, jumps, loops and stacks - but too much weed - every run ended up with a stop in the shallows to remove the weed - long string bits that wouldn't drop off with a chop hop or jump and large lumps that just stop ya dead.

Nice to get the wave board out of the cover for once though.

Hope that foot improves quickly!

Hope you not dealing with Noarlunga Hospital. I was in and out of there 7 or 8 times before they decided maybe my foot was as bad as I was telling them... 1 plate, nine screws and 2 lots of surgery later and my foots still pretty ****ed!

G'day Guys/Girls

Just got back from the Doc and ....... one fractured toe. Not so bad, they say 6 -12 weeks then I carried on a bit and doctor said try and stay out the water for as long as you can to let the bones knit, but if you have to go out Windsurfing next week..ish you should be fine (i.e live with the pain)

So all looks good

SHHHH!
you'll scare it off.

Hey Cain - broke my little toe at Robe last easter after 10 minutes of sailing - hit the mast base on a close out on the way out and it was pointing sideways - kept sailing with a bootie (pain in the arse) and strapping it to another toe.

Hurt like crazy trying to bottom turn with any decent rail pressure during the weekend as the swell was a good size and didn't take long to realise that jumping was to be avoided.

Also found out that great big bootie straps are dangerous - if you only wear one bootie - had no strap grip with the other foot and had a few clangers trying to jump.

Knocked it a few times - especially when you want to get your foot in the straps in a hurry - let loose a few expletives I can say and it hurt like hell - seemed to heel just as quick though

Good luck with it
