hey,how are you all,i tried all summer to take kite lessons but due to one thing or another, manely lack of wind, only got one lesson in.Now i"m thinking maybe try for windsurfing instead.I saw some poor person yesterday on the lake trying to keep afloat with zero breeze but this means at least i may be able to still take lessons on calm days & learn basic things,I"ve heard that theres a bloke down west lakes that teaches, does anyone here know about his rates & contact details, web page etc.etc. thanks for your help & giving up 20mins of your time to read this !!!!!

Hi mate,

Matt Stringer has started up a school called WindSup he'd be your man for windsurfing lessons. Onboard at glenelg has his info if you can't find it on the net. he has a pretty inpressive range of gear to learn on, so if your yet to get gear he can sort you out with it for the lessons

Hey Mate,

I have been through the windsup school at the start of the summer.

My Partner has as well. We would both reccomend going through Matt at Windsup.

His number is 0417 858 641.

Give him a call, he is always happy to chat about windsurfing, starting up, lessons, costs etc.

Real easy going guy and very knowledgable about the sport. He would be happy to point you in the right direction even if you arent keen for lessons.

Its a great sport and most of the guys are very welcoming of new surfers.

Cheers, Luke.
