Hey

I'm keen to get into windsurfing and have been advised to start the right way, that is go to a come and try day or a how to day. This in mind, I was wondering if there were any days like this on the SA calendar for 2010/11?

If the association doesn't have any, would you know of anyone that does (i.e west lakes aquatic centre)?

Cheers :D

hey mate, good to hear there's some new blood still out there.

Firstly if you mean the west lakes aqautic you may have gone to in primary school, then they can't help you. its owned by the education department, sadly only school kids.

its a good time of year to be getting keen, as its when demo days and summer events start to get organised.

keep an eye on seabreeze and onboards facebook page.
I know for a fact there is a windsurf demo weekend planned for sometime in october.

good luck
im sure theres plenty of people out there that will give you a hand.

cheers

Here is the Windsurfing SA Calendar for 2010/2011 which has the beginner & demo days that Joyrider mentioned.

www.windsurfing.org/files/WindsurfingSA_1011_cal.pdf

Call Onboard(8294 3866) about lessons, they have a few contacts.
