SUP boring, says they guy who wastes 1.5hrs to drive up to a boggy lake to sail!

Incidentally when you drove up to boggy sat week ago to glug around the lake with no wind for the race series,I passed you at Mount Barker on my way back from an really fun SUP on my short high performance board at Middleton with a really cool crew who also windsurf. I know who had more fun that day.

If you think SUP is boring, i think it might just be due to your lack of skill or understanding Hayden.

Hey, I don't normally add fuel to these tribal flame wars. They're stupid. But what the heck. Just to set the facts straight. I find SUP is a great option when the wind is really really light. But last Sat. I did 19.9 knots in the Boggy Lake race. Nothing special, but faster than a SUP will go on a fat Middleton wave (10-12 knots board speed). And if I had all the time in the world (which I don't) I would have WindSUP'ed in the morning NE and raced in the afternoon.

sorry shouldn't have called the sport of kings boring
maybe its more exciting when you are closer to the water or if your biggest rig is a 4.7 on a 68L wave board
and yes dr duck you did get me alittle interested in a SUP with your epic performance on saturday
i was knee deep on my 9m ,,not fun at alll
