Huuu... took you three laps to catch me !!!
and you wouldn't have it the wind had not dropped just a bit too much !
Well done..
good bit of fun
might have to look at the GPS results, I think the timekeeper missed a few of my laps
will have a look tomorrow.
yes checked the "Results" and a lap was missed
you still finished 1.1 Km's in front of Me, half a lap
and I did notice that my Speeds were faster than yours
and Gybes
but you did do better in the light winds....
Well Done
this time
thats the second time in the last 28 years that you have Beaten me
![]()
come down to Lake George and have a go at some SPEED
David unfortunately for you a lap was not missed. It is the way the laps are counted you unfortunately did not complete your last lap until after the the hour siren was sounded. You has completed 10.75 laps when the siren was sounded just missing out on the last one.
The same thing happened to Richard Upton in the second race he had completed 1 and 3/4 laps when the siren sounded thus bring him back to equal first with Hayden, Peter C, Shane and Chris all with just 1 lap.
Happy to let the results stand
but GPS data shows something a bit different
and during the 60 minutes off the race
11 rounding of the inside (car park) bouy, can be seen
at the completion of the 60 minute race, I had just rounded the outside or far mark
making 11 and a half Laps completed during the 60 minutes allocated to the race,
based on the GPS Data
happy to show you the GPS Data if you would like to look ?
See you next race, if I'm not working
lol that is why i did the extra lap because of fickle rules postponing start times and hard too know where you at with no flag too see when race is finished next race will have ka sails and hopefully it is actually windy too seperate the men from the boys bring on 2foot chop i say and jess is lending me his futtura for the light winds so look out boys
you all forget gps speed is nothing to do with a race ,, i have not quite worked out how too rig my sailing for the gps 2 second peak and so called fast gybes but i will
