Am going to try to go out there next time im in adelaide. Was hoping someone might be able to tell me what wind conditions work best ? and what the best site to find them is ?
hey bluetroopy, if there's any south in the morning, you can expect a good sea-breeze in summer. I haven't been down there this summer, but I've found that it really picks up mid-arvo and sometimes continues until nearly dark.
Northerly's touch and go, but if there's light northerlys in the morning, you might still get a sea-breeze in the arvo, whereas the metro can be marginal on those days.
does the bluetroopy have a JP sticker... think I saw you down at beachport
edit: check out www.boggylake.org as the other fact sheet is kinda outa date. The boggylake guy should do an update ![]()
sorry it has take a bit to get back to you , Thanks for all the help and yes the troopy has a jp sticker on it . Will try to get out there now im home
