it was so ballistic at times.
Sure was a great four days of sailing Chris everyone one was pretty hyped - Bretto - saw you getting some nice runs out at snaps the other day - four days of the best strong wind sailing for ages - sounds like Day st would have been the go Saturday morn but maintaining domestic bliss sometimes out ranks sailing - you can tell by my wifes thumb print on my forehead
25 knts again tomorrow - S*%t i gotta go back to work tomorrow and earn some money to pay for the broken stuff
ahhhhhhhhhhh
I had a great sail on Saturday at Snaps, managed to use my new 4.7, even managed my first forward loop, just I wasnt holding onto my rig at the time!
Kym got out yesterday at seacliff, with about 20 other crew,
Was one of the best weekends of wind for weeks!
I got up for a dawn session at Goolwa lake on Sunday morning, had a bout an hour and a half of 20-30 knot WSW winds, frustrating at times, I also now have fresh water coral cuts to my feet!
I got some great footage on Saturday afternoon, Jakob, Chris and I think it was Cain Jeffries ripping it at high tide, will try and get to making a movie this week.
Great Weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday I think was the best, great wave riding off the northern end of snapper point. I think it's better than U-turns.
Lots of Kites out..... getting sick of worring about kites and lines being to close to the water.
Some great shots Saturday, Sunday. Working on them and will post a link soon.
Let me know if you're interested in any particular photos.
Had a great sail today too.
Watched the windsurfers enjoying Snapper on saturday afternoon......looked fun, no way I was taking my 12m out in that wind. I turned photographer for a while and only managed to get out of focus shots and with people half cut off. I have a couple of the windsurfers that I will post up tomorrow for yall. Cheers.
i wouls love to see photos! the crazyiest windsurf! with awesome ramps and massive tide. coming in from snapper was a tad sketchy!!
It was Seacliff madness on Saturday. Average wind speed 36 knots gusts to 42 knots and no beach. If you made a mistake you where on the rocks!
Yes it was a great weekend. It was good to see so many crew out on Sunday.
Here is the link to the lightbox of Saturday with Chris Hale, Jakob and Cain Jeffries. Please remember they are really tiny files, the originals are huge and really high quality and I should have an A2 printer within the week. Also, I only uploaded a tiny selection of the images. Here is an example of Chris flying.
