I'd just like to encourage everyone interested in promoting and developing our sport to come along to this meeting. We have a group who are working hard through Windsurfing SA to get more local events going, but the more people that contribute, the easier it will get!
We need some people to nominate for the committee, but even if you can't stomach committee stuff, it will also be a chance to discuss where we are heading with the organized side of our sport, and kick a few ideas around.
PM me if you want to discuss or want some more information!
Regards, Dr Duck
Sorry I cannot make tomorrows meeting but am keen to help out with wave eventsand begginer / come and try days.
Check out your new sail number if you registered with Windsurfing SA at the wave comp on the 5th September - Its a long list - a fair few in the 500-600 range.

Vice-President: currently vacant
Secretary: Richard Upton
Treasurer: John Rohde
AWA Representative: John Rohde
Discipline Representatives:
Slalom: Chris Dimond

Congratulations to all those who put their hand up (especially those who couldn't make it on the night and were dobbed in by a mate
)
The committee is fired up for keeping the events going, and growing the sport. If you have any suggestions, bend the ear of a committee member next time you see one on the beach!
For the committee - The minutes of the meeting will (probably) end up on the Windsurf SA site or blog soon:
www.windsurfing.org
windsurfingsa.org.au/
I'll email them out if that isn't the case (Sorry Chris H!)
