Hi SA crew,
Any recommendations for local surf / kite / waterski / gear shops that sell windsurfer suitable PFDs, wetsuits, helmets, etc - or does everybody order from interstate shops / direct online from the brand these days?
I'm looking at buying one of these...

Would be nice to try on for fit and buy locally if possible, same goes for a new wetsuit ...is there any real difference between a standard wetsuit and one you'd use for windsurfing?
Cheers
NP vest is great.
I'll be getting a Severne long leg short sleeve for winter to go with LS neoprene top. This combo keeps me warm enough without forearm pump. I'll replace old hacked wettie.
Try to find a vest that has pockets large enough to hold flares PLB etc (or rope food etc) WSP in Perth has the vests, talk to them for sizing if you can't find someone who has one.
I buy most of my stuff online, but I do try locally first - Rapid Surf/Ski.
The NP vest is ok. No vest is perfect in my opinion. A skiing jacket has good support, but restricts movement. The NP high hook vest allows movement, but does slip up, but I would prefer these NP vests over a ski vest.
There's diving wet suits and surfing wet suits. The surfing wetties have a zip on the back and are dual thickness (ie: 4/3. 4mm body, 3mm arms and legs). There were some windsurfing wetties similar to surf wetties, but a front/top zip arrangement. I would just go for a surf wettie. Head to Rapid Surf/Ski.
