Windsurfing Sa Events

Hi All

Events over the summer months are going to be Cannonball Run and Slalom Racing.

Cannonball Run will be held before Christmas and the Slalom Race after the Christmas Break.

Cannonball Run as per usual location.

The Slalom race will be at Boggy.

WSA

Possible for this sunday, long range looks ok for some Slalom racing.
Leave a comment if you want to have a crack at it.

Hi All

Sundays looking pretty windy

As of today we are going to run a Slalom race at Boggy,
be ready to race at 3pm
if it takes longer for the wind to kick we can wait.

Maybe the Boggy locals might wanna join in instead of complaining in group chats that we are going to be there,
who knows you might have a good time.

Few people are saying they think it'll be too windy 30knots plus to run a fun slalom race.
Let's have some input from everyone as to whether we go ahead or not.
I think windier the better but what do you guys think?

Could hold the racing earlier in day when not as strong.
We would be racing on wave kit if held in afternoon!

Will aim to get there early, really enjoyed last time, but tomorrow will definitely be more challenging.

Great fun racing the boys in super strong wind with some sketchy conditions on the marks. Race sails and slalom boards made way for wave kit but it was still mental!!

Had to avoid carnage at the outside gybe as well as a dead cormorant.

Thanks to Ian for organising and congrats to him for winning 3 of the 4 races (small board was definitely the best bet). Shame about the Insta 360 though......

Meanwhile, down the road a bit, WP was fully loaded on 4m and over head high set waves!
