We used to have a strong course racing culture down here, with local guys winning National and World Championships in Raceboard and Wallys. All gone now. For some reason Formula boards never got to critical mass here.

I tried the Demo Formula board yesterday down at Semaphore. It was the worst windsurfing experience of my life. Felt like trying to put a windsurfing rig on a Boat.
Dude no one in SA owns a formula board............
