, for those sailing and those out of range, Walkers Rocks is the destination for tomorrw (if u can make it in time) and for Aussie day as well, head onto the beach and travel a kilometre down and u wont miss us, please bring your own lunch as the forecast tells us there is no chance of cooking a BBQ on the beach![]()

Mate - you are so amped - I am sorry I can't make it this year. I will make sure it happens next year. I hope there are some good photos and vid so we can all enjoy it from a distance. You guys do a great job putting it all together... Hope it is epic...
Thanks Zac and west coast crew for another great week
Great to see all the crew going hard, smiling and enjoying a few beers.
Great sailing for 4 days - Prob could have sailed Saturday as well - looks like Josh and crew were getting a few further up the beach at Walkers
Some good beach recoveries from the crew - definately some good 4 wheelie knowledge amongst ya - I think the German tourists will be talking about there adventure for years to come - and the crazy wetsuited windsurfers that dug and pulled them out - then disappeared back out to sea
Thanks to Ben Severne and Onboard for the prizes they provided for the
random draw at the Elliston Caravan park camp kitchen / BBQ. - and the van parkers and owners for not asking us all to leave on Australia DAyas we quietly had a few ales until midnight
Thanks to the Hail and Rich Kay for the transport out to the walkers beach - much appreciated. - heading out to get some 4 x 4 brochures - Commodore just doesnt seem to cut it over there - mm new 4 wheelie
Looking forward to next year already
How bout converting the commo to 4x4 Russ. I saw a commo ute converted in Esperance. Was the weirdst thing ive ever seen mind you!!
Russ - if you like your Commodore then just go for a Holden Adventra AWD. I've had one down on the beach at Walkers no problems.
Stick with the Commo Russ, you would only use FWD 4-5 times ayear!
Forester is a good option if you looking for cheap, reliable, beach cruising etc.....
Thanks Zac and all the west coast crew for putting on a good show.
It was good to catch up with some of the SA guys I haven't seen for a while and to meet a few others.
The windsurfing scene in SA seems to be going really well at the moment, everyone's sailing well and having fun . Everyone seems pretty keen to travel around a bit to get some good conditions.
I'm looking forward to next year. We'll see if we can get a few more WA guys to do the journey.
Cheers, Hoop
