The high looks like it will be coming thru on early in the week, Tues will start blowing strong SE with swell coming thru Tues nite to Wed, Wed will be the pick of the week (for those who want to take another day off) with strong SE and over 3m swell. It looks as if we will concentrate on making Thrurs 26th comp day at Elliston as there will be 2.5 - 3m swell and still hopefully over 20 knots( If forecast doesnt change), Look forward to seeing you there

Would recommend travellers to go straight thru to Elliston for thursday, Walkers Rocks is 10km north of Elliston on the left on the main highway to Streaky Bay, go past day parking to camping section for beach access, if u havent got 4wd go to the beach access and someone will give u a lift the 1-2km down beach

just a heads up - if you want a slightly quicker way from adelaide go straight thru from Pt Augusta to iron knob and Kimba then take the Kyancutta to Elliston Road (dirt road but pretty good) and youll save yourself up to and hour. Its the first left turn after the general store - just after the canon!!!

If you get to the 11oK sign out of Kyancutta or the outskirts of Ceduna you've gone too far

there are two caravan parks in Elliston, the one closest to the jetty(Elliston Caravan Park) is probably the better one, (especially for kids), but the other one-Waterloo Bay is closer to the pub. I've booked into jetty park wed & thurs & will be able to cart some gear out to walkers if needed, I'll be in white hilux dual cab. seeya there

Ferry not running yet, quite dear at $160 a car
Only saves about 1/2 hr in 7 hr trip time from adelaide
To lincoln if u keep on the move and stay to speed limit,
But does give u two hours of sanity if trav with young kids
Cheaper to do the long yards IMO
