well done on the pics boys. Pic #13 shows what the gusts were like. I'll try to keep my eyes open in the next debrief session
Spent the last 10 day's in Coffin Bay and go every October for the last four years.Left the gear home this year but went out to Point Avoid , great waves on the Gunna beach side.
Do you guy's sail around the National Park at all,
Point Avoid
Gunna Beach
Flat rock
CHEERS
Looks sweet Looks like everyone was sailing on Sat while I was sitting in airports - hopefully we can get conditions like that for the West Coast exprss sess next year if its still going ahead.
nice shots fellas
pretty much same as glenelg north actually
any joy sunday? sailed u turns am cross shore 1 foot and kent reserve pm onshore at 3 foot. after a few beers it worked out well - x shore at 4 foot!!
Ty- re coffin; mullalong bombie on must do list. Fredo has posted some killer BW shots of it with yellow sign in front
We probably sail pt Avoid half dozen times per year,
works really well in nw to west, ( cold fronts) in winter
as big swells are not real threat, rollers and crumblin
without closin out, just shorebreak to deal with. The spot
we want to sail is a small break at the first lookout of avoid
which can be ( sailed by old school) sailed in se during summer
Previous spots mentioned are out the end and very taxing on
vehicles if taken reg, but well worth the mission if taken. Currently
workin on plan for jan and the core group over here Are still very
keen to make sure jan long weekend happens. Stay tuned shortly for
a postin
regards zac
