Hi folks,
It will be on tonight at BYSC, first race at 6 pm. Looks like there will either be the last of a seabreeze or the first of a gully wind again. Water looking good at the moment - crystal clear. See you there.
Regards, Richard
Generally light but shifty winds last night, but that made for great racing. Good turn out of SUP's who took out line honours. Windsurfing fleet was decimated by mechanical failures prior to the race, leaving Richard U and Malcolm H as the only entrants. RU had commanding lead at the bottom mark, but was outfoxed by MH as the wind shifted offshore for the last beat. RU devastated.
Three Hobie trimarans also joined the fun.
If anyone has an old Wally in the shed, please let us know here as there are plenty of guys and gals keen to get on the water.
Richard
First time there for me, great night, competitive, but enjoyably so. Few beers afterwards with wife and kids, playing on the beach at sunset was priceless too. Great effort by Tony and Pete, well worth SUPorting the cause!
Richard U certainly has some moves on his Kona, great to watch Richard!
Chris.
A mate of mine has a 240litre Hifly primo with a windsurfer one design sail, boom and mast at a bargain price. PM me if interested.
