Hi All - we will be holding a meeting at 6pm this Wednesday at the Hilton Pub on South Rd - front bar.
Please come along if you are interested in being involved. We will be holding a vote whether we are genuinely keen to hold the event next year or following and the proposed location.

Note that judging is just one small element of organisation of this event and what I saw last year this was shared around between the competitors anyway, lots of heats to get through and waiting in between is when you can help with judging.
More helpers in organising event leading up to it, the more chance of getting this off the ground and it being a success, especially if we end up targeting Feb 2015.
happy to help but can't make the meeting on Wednesday, and I couldn't do much if we're thinking february 2015, since I've already got stuff on right thru till then (fine after that!).
Hey Kym I'm able to help in any way I can if its held at Robe or further east, I won't compete but I'd appreciate a small block of water time, 1.5-2 hours would pull me up.
I too can't make your meeting and I can't guarantee I'm able to head over West due to having a young family.

I can prob help in someway if its in 2016, maybe contribute PA gear for music and commentary at contest site but wont be at the meeting. Have other commitments tonight
