Looks like the might be some northerlies this week (if the forecast holds), and im pretty keen to try sail on the mid on either monday or tuesday.
I don't know much about the spot, and it would be awesome if I could go out with some other sailors.
Is anyone going to head out this week who wouldn't mind showing me the ropes.
cheers,
James
If you head to U turns (near cliff Ave) or three poles (next car park south) from around 930 there might be a few crew around - if its dead flat the chances are lowerthat anyone will be sailing.
Tide is low at 11 I think so Seaford/three poles may be the best bet due to tide. If its windy and flat Moana is a good bet cause the riggings nice, sandy launch and you can grab a coffee and chips at the deep blue
Swell may be pretty small (conflicting surf forecasts) in the morn though
good luck - wish I could join you I'm hanging for a wave or two
Ended up 20+ knts at mid this arvo - not many set waves but a bit o fun for an hour or so sailing with Bert - ended up a bit o/powered about 330 hope it's windy tues for ya
nothing worse than watching 20+ knt winds blasting over a sunny beach with crew blasting in and out - while your sitting at work having ya morning cuppa
