Hi guys.
I'm on a bit of a trip from WA to Tassie and would apprieciate some tips on wave sailing spots along the way. I'm by no means hard core, but I would love to share some of your favourite waves.
Been a lack of waves that are sailable around Adelaide / victor lately but a few b&j sails on the local and southern beaches - Pilchard and Jimbob might be worth catching up with if your heading through the SE of SA - Robe Beachport Nene valley through Port Mac as I am sure there's a couple of spots they would share with a weary sail deprived traveller.
Might be some wind thurs arvo down there if ya lucky
Enjoy the drive
do check these places lager cactus / penong eyre peninsula
robe se
secret nene spot se
pebbles / cape douglas se
so many spots no doubt over west sa but never hit them, spots above work on a sea breeze that "should" blow from november to march. the more the merrier down the lower south east (se)
Thanks for your hospitalty guys.
Lets just hope for some wind and waves. Should be heading down from Middleton via Robe etc so will hope to catch up along the way.
Hey Pilly,
time to take up lawn bowls I reckon![]()
I've had a few good outings at the track, but on big gear.
Ty has gone back to the big smoke so the sea breezes should start coming in soon![]()
Lager,
3rd ramp at Robe is worth a sess. Turn right down a white metal road approx 6 k's Kingston side of Robe.
I've crossed over to the dark side but only to happy to show you around if in the Mt Gambier area.
After Mt Gambier the next best spots are around Warrnambool / Port Fairy, then Torquay.
Middleton looks like a chance Friday - 43degrees - 20-25 nnw (SE forecast) and 3-5foot
Could be fun - if ya not working!!!!
