Was talking to a biosecurity employee at work today as they were taking samples from the bilge of a ship, apparently the levels of poo in the gulf from the floods aren't much below that of a septic tank!
Seacliff was pretty good yesterday mid-morning in 27-35 knots but for the brown water.
My board seemed to be planning faster than usual.........must have been the floaters.
Sailed Port Hughes today. Not the usual azure "desert island" quality you would expect, but about the same as metro waters on a clean day. If you are grossed out (like I am) with the water quality at metro, then the Spencer is a good backup plan
You would think the salt might deal with most of the pathogens but the thought of all that fecal matter adding to the brownness of the water![]()
