The womens windsurfing day is on - WOMSAIL 09 - on the Monday 9th March (WOMAD long weekend)
Plan is to kick off at 11:00 Tirana Avenue westlakes (the playground and recreation area) Bring a big board if you've got one - the more the merrier
Some of the experienced women sailors have offered to provide a few tips on gear selection, rigging your sails and getting up and moving and basic turns. Plans for some harness and strap technique for the more experienced women sailors may well be on hold dependant on the wind - we may have to have another day at a more open water location to do this.
Sausage sizzle around 13:00 (1pm)
Pack up around 3pm
