I have caught Geoff's disease and upgrading trailers (even I dont know why!) and as a result selling my perfectly good trailer.

Why would u spend $10,000 on just a windsurf trailer when u can throw your gear on top of a campertrailer and sleep a family, carry 200l water, have a full slide out kitchen, 240w solar panel with battery system running fridge and freezer so u can travel anywhere anytime and camp at relatively no cost. Fits nine boards on top no worries and not lockable, but who wants to steal from us old coots anymore anyhow!

Because it is lighter, faster, insulated, easier to access the gear, does not cost that much, fits like a glove, scalable, easier to tow and makes me ahppier :-)

Hey Zak - nice trailer and fully loaded!

I think I found the reason why you should spend $4000 in the photo of your trailer below from another thread. I think the word is "reliability" - I like to get to the beach while its still windy!

The trailer never failed Paul i was just being overly cautious after hearing some terror stories of the Gnaraloo track, as it was u could have nearly driven a falcon down the track!!! I wanted as much clearance as i could and ended up using the old springs with the axle on the bottom to gain 50mm clearance All good, as for the trailer debate i know it is horses for courses and everyone has their own needs when it comes to transport of gear, as u know we normally just throw everything in a single axle trailer and hope it is still on their when we get there!

Save on fuel and get yourself a wagon like this with a unicycle for the no wind days.
