BOM saying strongest winds since a storm in the 1960's.

My 3.7m was ok in the last few storms up to 45 knots but 50 knots seems the limit - You using the 3.3 on Thurs Bondy?

Had a quick sail during lunch today from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at Semaphore ... about 17-18 knots which was marginal with a 5.8 and Tri 89 :(

Sailed wed and thur here at Streaky. 4.2 and 80L comfortable most of the time certainly didn't get the swell that was predicted. Strongest winds were on wed night thought the windows were going to let go at times. Trampoline went flying found it about 300m off in the scrub. Two boats broke their moorings one ended up on the beach the other is on the bottom next to the jetty! Big tides causing coastal erosion and plenty of trees down. Hopefully start getting some south easters soon

Got Thursday morning good with 3.7 at Seacliff. Big airs. Thursday arvo was too rippy to sail. Friday with 5 at seacliff again. Good clean ramps. Got better when everyone left! Good luck down south!

aiming for a Middleton Monday..,
