Can anyone update us on the latest condition of Lake George? I'll be down that way over easter ... do I pack slalom gear with the wave gear? Or is it just unsailable?

I dont like you chances, it was unsailable last October, so not a lot of rain since,

I will be there tommorrow, will ride the bike around the lake and let you know, last sailed their in January and the middle lake was stuffed then. couldn't walk through the MUD. danny said you can drive from the spit across to the islands and cockys point. The big lake should still be sailable just a long long walk out. Us locals have all been sailing in the bay the last couple years. get back to you thursday night if I don't forget.

rode around the lake today or I sould say across it, it is stuffed, the middle lake is almost gone and will bone dry in a couple months, the big lake may be sailable but it will be a HUGE walk to the water and then to get deep enough, from woakwine cutting road gate would be the only chance but in my opion it would br a waste of time. if you are going to sail in the sea in the bay you WILL need a weed fin as we have had a run of big swells and not enough big northerlys to clear the weed.
