looks like Windfinder has it just pushing up to 16 knots W, with a tad SW. Any recommendations for somewhere that has just that "little extra" effect of amplifying the wind? I see Seabreeze predicts 20, but it has been missing in terms of strength lately. Is boggy decent with a W-SW?

Thanks all, newbie here so appreciate the advice.

Absolutely. Looks like a front passing through the south on Sunday so it could even be strong. The speed strip works on a SW'er too.

Excellent, well, my first trip to boggy then! no worries of sharks, will rig large and work on some drag race gybes!

I must say I'm impressed with Boggy! Maybe it's because I'm 6'2" but I think I could put a foot down every wipe out! Great place and the waves were much smaller for being out in 4.5m sail conditions. Plus you could really go for a long distance between gybes without worrying about how far from shore you'd be.

Thanks for the boggy hospitality as well, everyone is very friendly.

Cheers,

Erik
