goolwa beACH OR BOGGY
Reckon there will be a stiff northerley on the mid late morn - crap low tide around 10ish and no swell tho
goolwa beACH OR BOGGY
I think goolwa beach will be straight off shore in a NE.
Mid is flat with a NE breeze that is filling in, might be able to practice freestyle in 1/2 hour, low tide is very low.
1 person out at Middleton at 1.00pm ... small waves and it looked gusty but still fun - no different to the usual NW days. If it was the same & waves on the other tack with NW or NNW wind there probably would have been 10+ people on the water.
I took the easy option hit the water at Goolwa lake on the north side from 1pm to 3pm .. 5.3m and 93L board .. bit light .. should have rigged 6.2m.
I was out at Middleton. 5.7 and 101. Gusty and lots of surfers to dodge.
Hey josh Were you sailing ene tack or the usual nnw?
NNE ... so it was the other tack.
I had a quick look at Google Maps and it looks like the beach at Day St faces directly north, so imagine the angle of a NNW sail, but just on the other tack. NE would be perfect.
