Yes, 100% you need booties. Not worth ending up in hospital with an infection. I would join you, but end of the year chaos at work. Small arv tide tomorrow with a high in the bight. Should be good. Might even get to 25kt. Sail it late. The lawn next to the caravan park is where everybody goes. But, it's normally a massive bear away to launch due to the shape of the sand bar. If you're not familiar, launch from the pub. That way, you don't walk out as far, and you can launch beam reach or close hauled.
