Has anyone sailed at St Kilda ?. Apart from low tide catching you out, are there any fin breakers or gotcha's ?. What is the best part to sail ?, the south channel or the northern bay ?. Do you need a weed fin ?

I went there today for a barby. It must have been blowing 12-15 knots. Water was very flat. Looks impressive for gybe practice

Ok. I'll check it out next low tide. T03y, those sand dunes, are they the ones right at the mouth of the outer harbour ? (ie: north of the North Haven wall).
