Another slap together of footage from a sail at Lancelin last Weds. First couple of attempts at editing.
Zubby,
Main break was easy to get out through the channel. Waves were1/2 to 3/4 mast high in the sets but no problem picking your way through them. The day before was apparently mast high with some close outs across the reef but still sailable according to the guys there. South passage bigger again. There was only 5 or 6 sailing with two or three of us on the waves at any timeat Main Break - not even any kites on the waves. Gerro (first Vid) had a 1.8m swell on Tues while Lancelin was 3.5m. Weds Lancelin (second vid) was 2.3m swell. Its been 20 years since I have been in WA and I'd forgotten how blue and warm the water was, how white the sand was and how good the conditions can be. Not crowded at this time of year either.![]()
