Hey Ja, try using KA72.com to load your GPS data, it is very easy to use and does the google earth tracks for you as well.

Jimbob: I'll have another crack at ka72.com. Since google earth came out, I've never been able to get it working
(i'm not a windows user). I had a look at the ka72 site a few months back, but gave up when I saw the google earth error message.
