We didn't get down the beach till 5:30 when most of you were packing up, from six the wind really picked up, it was fantastic only five sailors left on the water. Vikki managed to get a few photo's in the setting sun. The time we packed up at seven it was blowing a gale, good 4.2m weather.

The un-named windsurfer doin a reo on the 98 Fanatic free-wave in shot 6 was Richard Kay I think.

nice piccies Vickstar - gotta luv the place - its amazing how much fun you can have on a 1 foot wave with decent cross off and a nice little bank - and dont claim that first shot Marty It got very ugly just after Vickie took that shot - I said to her you would claim it

Nah had the skate 112 with me - fun when its light but a handfull with a 6.4 towards the end - I was knackered - went down early with the family and sailed from 3;15 till 530 - had some nice waves though - even managed a couple of decent jumps as the wind strengthened - would have loved to go for longer but I think karen had had enough - I hardly ever take the wave gear down there cause you can have fun on the freewave and usually need the float in between gusts.

Carl - looks flat but does get choppy out the back - there is usually some nice ramps to jump - which may not be good on your speed gear - up near the cliffs might be worth a look - this Sunday may shape up as another one - and theer won't be any swell at all.
