Russ,

I think tonights a good chance. It was sunny out my way this morn (Salisbury) and looking on Transport SA webcam its sunny at Outer Harbor now. Beauro forecast for Gulf st vincent looks good and i usually look at this compared to the metro waters forecast. Only thing is it might go S-easterly by 6 or 6.30 given where the isobars are sitting later in the day. Prob best somewhere between 3-6pm.
If you get there later and its more SE then either chicken shop or Nth haven can be better as Semi gets too offshore.
Tomorrow - isobars dont look as good (too SE) but hotter temperature and beauro is forecasting it
Saturday - map looks better
**Disclaimer** - its nature and anything can happen

Pity the West coast is too far to go for an after work sesh

What time would you get there?

You might come good just at the right time - sailing with vertigo would be a good fun challenge

If you want someone to test out the new stick i could pick it up on the way

I'm half way there at work - it's just the drive home that seems never ending - its a four pale journey

mmm, beer, definitely makes the drive more enjoyable. dont think its the optimum re-hydration fluid after a sail though. I usually end up with a headachae after robe trips due to beers on the way home.

I know what you mean by the drive Russ, Brighton Road gives me the s@#ts. Gotta be a decent Seacliff day to be worth the drive for me. Pity our governments such a joke and they didnt build the north south freeway that they bought land for in the 60's. At least youve got the expressway....well at least sometimes if your going the right way....lol
At least out north where i live now they are building great expressways that go both ways. Only takes me 20mins to get to Semi from Salisbury.

Looks like another cracking 20-25 knot session at Semaphore, which BOM hasn't predicted......

Did anyone catch the 30-30knot SWer yesterday morning?

Some idiot said it would be windy today. Baaaa. Put the mockers on it. Scored a good late sail Tuesday night and on the water at 6:15am Wednesday - was 25 - 30 knots - good waves.

Or possibly gusty sellicks for the southern folk

The drive at 6pm from Sema4 was a nightmare - avoid the lights at coming from west beach to tapleys hill road near Harbour Town - it took 15 mins just to get around there with the Glenelg bridge out -

Got back to the mid and there were decent cross off waves it was sse and sailable - bugger
