Looks like a mad forecast. WSW should be reasonably good wind on the weed. I am watching closely and making plans....

Where's LG? What's the angle ? (On shore , cross etc). Is it bump and jump or other ? How longs the drive and is it worth it?

Lake George. Flat water speed lake. Weedy and flat. West to WSW should be pretty good wind as it comes off the ocean, as opposed to NW to NNW which will probably be extremely gusty. Some forecasts calling more than 50 knots!!!! The drive for me is 8+ hours and I think it could definitely be worth it!

50kts might be a little much for my 65kgs. Might get over there at some stage when I get a different size falcon. The one I have now is a bit big. Ta.

I have. I'm sporting a bit of a muffin top at the moment. If I keep going I might need Jenny Craig.

Sambo, that would be a sick name for a CSIRO ship . "This is Steam Boat Fatty Actual to Boaty McBoatFace Actual, do you read ?". Forget the slalom board tomorrow at Haven. I would be packing the wave board.

@Sailquik. Enjoy. There is no way in hell I can even spend 1 hour off work at the moment. I'll be on top of it by the time the red arrows hit next week

Ahh, people who can get out during week days... (mind you, I can't complain, I get to sail most afternoon seabreezes in summer). Not sure how reliable the BOM 3-7 day forecaster is in the SE. In Adelaide, you would be nucking futs to plan your week using this forecast IMO. This is what BOM is predicting for Thursday arv:

I'm there from Friday morning for Dirtbike weekend in the dunes. But I'm packing the windsurf gear to sail each afternoon and all day Sunday.
The forecast is looking great.

LG seems to be a rather windy place. Is anyone making good use of it or has the water been blown inland
