What are the windsurfing plans today? Do you think Middleton may work?
Albeit briefly before the SW change.
I am keeping an eye on it but the bureau marine wind model would suggest that its very light northerly ahead of the switch to sw late morning. Current observations would seem to confrim this.
12:07 and 5 knts of nw at the mid and dead flat- the calm before the storm maybe - will it be w, sw or sthly - west coast and yorkes direction is all over the place
I wish it would hurry up cause the day is slipping away quickly
Middleton
2.00pm - about 12knts NW - nobody out
3.00pm - about 18knts NW - 1 person - reasonable but lumpy swell
3.10pm - about 35knts SW - 2 persons out
3.15pm - about 40knts SW - nobody out
Goolwa Lake
1pm to 4pm - nobody out
Glenelg
5pm - nobody out
Seacliff 4 out, all clinically insane
Geoff, Ty and Carl and some other fella, much respect!
I wish I had my camera with me, as the waves were being blown flat on the gusts, the cafe nearly lifted off and bear is now blow dried to perfection!
I was the 4th person at Seacliff and went back to Semaphore and got a ripper at the Palais from 5:15 to 6:15 - 4.2m 72L twin smooth between big rollers 30-40 knotts.
