Sailing Day Street on ENE - ?Saturday

Has anyone sailed Day Street on a E-ENE - looking at Saturday it may be worth a look. Anyone had the pleasure?? Anyone keen to head down mid morning

You know we will be there Russ, although, werent the green arrows a bit more prominent earlier this week?

PS: At least its getting windier in Maui!

I think it's a Starboard 9'8" x 30 - prob a bit small but i'll give it a whirl

Took it out at Moana this arvo - 9'8" x 30" Thruster (1 x 20cm fin) no side fins and a GSI carbon paddle - only fell off a couple of times paddling into waves on an angle, and when I tried to take off on a wave too late (was tiny) surprisingly easy to paddle up and down the beach - was going from cliffs back to the surf club and back to the cliffs and catching a wave every now and then . Turns on a 10c piece and feels good on the poor excuse for a wave that I was catching. Floats over the tiny white waters well.

Can't wait to try it on some waist high or chest high waves.

A pod of juvenile dolphins were swimming around under me for about 10 minutes - they would lay on their sides near the surface just near the rail of the board and eye ball me through the water - I've been surfin for 30+ years and never had dolphins just play all around like that - like they wanted you to get involved - very cool!

This SUPing could be a little addictive - have to agree with the no wind alternative - U's and 3 poles may get a regular SUP visitor from here on - only got out the water cause the sun was goin down!
