Just wondering if crew are keen to get some plans together for winter - be good to have a calendar of events with the poss of a state titles. 2-3 events + states. If conditions are fun - make it social - if conditions really good more competitive - short heats and a final
We will Need to call a windsurfing SA general meeting at some stage to look at membership etc as well. i am sure we could get it up and running - anyone keen or do we just all go sailing - I miss the beers and sausage sizzle
Any thoughts or willing organisers / comp committee volunteers
RH
Hi Russ,
I'm keen. I need to call a Windsurfing SA AGM pretty soon. I'll put it on the front burner.
Cheers, Richard
Always keen to help out and help where ever possible. Looking forward to some wind and some waves. Cant believe we are talking about winter already!!
Summer sucks! Had more sailing this year than last 10... Bit low on Robe trips so far but apart from that pretty epic!
Really keen to be more involved this year. Learned a lot from last year and keen to help and compete. The vid I put up 2 weeks ago is from comp day at Middleton. Reminds me how good it can be when it does work!
summer sux!!!
brb just getting over 10 days in a row over 25knots plus, 7 of those 30k+.
Depends where ya live spose, live up south, summer sux, live down northern area, best summer ever!!!!
Keen to help with the States. Agree with Geoff - got plenty of ideas from last year! PS: Also v excited by the swell on the Mid this weekend![]()
Hello !!!!! Are you serious it's flat water semaphore . You gaylord semi sailors are easily pleased that's for sure
And getting back to the original argument, id rather drve south an hour and get a decent sail, the flatwater gets very boring....
Sailing in waves is awesome but rare this time of year. I drive for over an hour just to sail semaphore because it has a predictable sea breeze and the occasional decent ramp. I'd much rather sail the mid coast or sellicks but if there's no swell there's no point. Tomorrow looks good though![]()
You guys just need to time it better - I have had a hooting fun summer of wind and waves locally - most of it ssw - sse - stuff all sellicks but a couple of crackers there as well
Actually I think its time retract this - I was keen to get something happening but after the last weeks bitching and moaning I really can't be bothered anymore
Go for it Geoff and James - good luck
See you on the water and enjoy yourselves wherever your sailing - cause I know I will be.
Lol . Nothing personal to anybody Russ. No ones bitching or moaning. Just thought I would stand up for us gay lord semi sailers. Ha ha.
Ha ha I don't mind being a gaylord semi sailor once a week. Dont take things so serious russ. I think everybody would be keen for comp.
